Mearns Community Council Hustings 2022
Only 7 of 11 Candidates have responded to invitation.
Mearns Community Council invited all 11 candidates standing the the upcoming Council election on 5th May to attend a hustings event. All invitations were sent 1st class post and were signed for on Friday 8th May.
The hustings are being convened by Mearns Community Council to allow voters to ask questions of the candidates to help them to make their decision as to who might serve them best as a Councillor.
It is extremely disappointing that 4 of the 11 have not taken the time to reply to, or even acknowledge the invitation.
The event will be held in Luthermuir Hall on Wednesday 27th April at 7.00pm and last for a maximum 2 hours.

Shona Ewen (Scottish Liberal Democrats)

Those who have not replied are deemed to have forfeited their right to participate.
Questions on the night will come from the floor.
